Starch Wash Hydrocyclone

Use

The washing system is mainly used to extract refined starch milk, that is, to remove the soluble and insoluble proteins and possible tiny fibers contained in the starch milk.

Structure and Principle

The rotary liquid separator is composed of casing, hole plate, cover, rotary pipe and blocking pipe.

Starch milk and washing water flow upstream through the washing system, the washing system is usually composed of 6~12 levels. Each stage contains many cyclone tubes that are mounted in the casing of the "rotary separator" and work in parallel and in parallel.

Each stage of rotary liquid separator has a feed interface, bottom flow interface and overflow interface.

The bottom flow contains concentrated starch milk, and the overflow contains soluble substances and fine residue. The bottom flow of a certain level along with the previous level overflow is sent to the feed pump of the middle level. The starch milk enters the first stage of the washing system, and then washes step by step to reach the required refined starch milk and leaves the system through the bottom flow of the last stage.

The overflow contains dilute starchy milk and the impurities to be removed. This allows the washing water (entering the washing system before the last stage) to leave the system after passing the stage 1 overflow, discharging impurities such as protein and thin fiber residue.
